1927
OUR BEGINNING
It all started back in 1927 when Agostino Cipriani, already a distributor of yeast to bakeries, began retailing Italian candies, sweets, chocolates, bomboniere, and liqueurs.
This vision led to the success of a historic family-run business deeply connected to its community, adapting through generations to become today’s Cipriani Dolciumi.
1950
PASSION AND TRADITION
Passion for tradition and “good things” was passed down through the post-war years when gift items were introduced.
Between the 1920s and the 1950s, when Christmas was not celebrated but only Epiphany, Cipriani Dolciumi also dedicated itself to packaging and selling Christmas hampers, traditionally called “ceppi.” The success was such that it quickly became a reference point in the Italian area for its packages.

TODAY AS YESTERDAY
In 1950, the business moved to a new location in Prato and has continued to grow since.
Today, the love for detail and packaging, the high quality of gourmet products, and the most exclusive brands remain its strengths, backed by a constant commitment to daily service for customers.
